“Best Days – Past & Present” is a series of paintings that are inspired by playful and nostalgic memories of a seemingly ‘simpler’ time in my life, growing up in the suburbs in the 70’s and 80’s. It was important for me, however, to recognize that the best days of our lives do not only exist in our memories of the past. Painted with a spirit of optimism and abundance, it was easy for me to clearly see that the best days of our lives continue to exist in the present and I wanted to capture that as well.
